Kent Roosevelt veteran head coach Mike Haney won career game No. 200 on Friday, with the Rough Riders routing Cloverleaf 14-4.
Zac Common got the win on the mound and kept his record perfect on the season at 3-0. Common also was a big part of the offense with a single and double, while Phil Kaderle had three RBI and Jeremiah Grimm added a single.
Kent Roosevelt (6-6) got on the board quick, pushing seven runs across in the top of the first inning to take full control of the action over the Colts (0-5).
FIELD 5, TALLMADGE 2
Hunter Silveus hit three singles to lead the Field offense, which scored a pair of runs in the top of the first inning to gain the early advantage.
The Falcons then added on with a run in the top of the third and three more in the top of the fourth that pushed the team's lead to 5-0 before Tallmadge finally got on the board late in the game.
CRESTWOOD 13, STREETSBORO 0
Red Devils pitcher Megan Cymanski pushed her record to 4-0, giving up just one hit and striking out five in the win for Crestwood (6-1).
DeeDee Harrigan led the offense for the Devils with two singles and a home run, with two runs scored and two RBI. Mia Miller had two doubles and three RBI, Skylar Gregel had a single and two doubles and also drove in a pair of runs.
Additionally, Sierra Gregel had a double and two RBI, Angela Masiello had a single and triple and Christina Masiello had two singles and scored two runs for Crestwood.
RAVENNA 6, GARFIELD 3
Ravens pitcher Hannah Welling continued her strong start to the season, delivering a complete-game victory that featured 14 strikeouts and only two hits against.
At the plate, Amanda Casciato was the leading standout with three doubles and four RBI, while Kylie Hicks added a double and two singles. Sam Orona had a double and Frankie Cipriano a single and RBI for Ravenna.
