A fruit tree pruning workshop will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon March 25 at Stotler's Orchard in Randolph. The free workshop starts with 60 minutes of instruction by David Stotler and then attendees can practice pruning skills on apple trees.

Bryn Smith and Zackary Doran of Kent announce the birth of their son, Liam Alistair Doran. He was born Dec. 8 at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna and weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Older siblings are Nathan Barber, 6, and Alexis Barber, 5.
Cole Edward Rennick is the newborn son of Stacey Rennick and Chelsea Ziegler of Aurora. He was born Dec. 5 at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Older brothers are Zachary Rennick, 22, Stacey Rennick Jr.
