Crop Walk for Hunger on Sunday 

The annual Kent/Ravenna Crop Walk on Sunday begins with registration at 1:30 p.m. at Lake Brady United Methodist Church, 1995 Brady Lake Road, and after a few activities, begins at 2 p.m. for a 3.5-mile loop walk on the Hike Bike Trail. Water and apples will be provided at the midpoint.

Years ago on a Sunday morning, arriving in the parking lot of the Ohio church to which I was called, I remember being excited because, that afternoon, I would be ordained and installed as a pastor. Years of work had culminated toward that event.
