I no longer have to wonder why we can't get animal abuse laws passed in the state of Ohio. Not when our elected officials have no qualms about spending their time at the Statehouse to publicly joke and laugh about raping animals as they discuss HB 289, a bill currently before the legislature which would make bestiality illegal in Ohio.
Anyone who wants to see what their tax dollars are being spent on can go to www.ohiochannel.org/MediaLibrary/Media.aspx?fileId=137578 and take a look at the adolescent behavior of the "honorable" Armond Budish, Democratic Leader of the House. (65:38 time)
When our lawmakers have nothing better to do than joke and laugh about animal abuse, there is a bigger problem than most realize.
I have never been more disgusted and disheartened with our elected officials, than I am by the 129th Ohio General Assembly.
