Paige Elizabeth Thomas lost her battle with addiction on Sunday May 14, 2017. She leaves behind her loving family including mother, Leslie Thomas; father, Larry Thomas; brother, Colin Thomas; paternal grandmothers Margaret Thomas and Shirley Gaye Thomas; and maternal grandparents Sandra & Paul Reynolds. Paige was preceded in death by maternal grandfather David Neill and paternal grandfather Ralph Thomas. Paige is also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Paige was born on June 20, 1989, graduated from Ravenna High School in 2007 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kent State University in 2013, and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna. Paige also loved the practice of Yoga and completed training to be an instructor in 2013. Paige had a love for life and growing up she was active in 4H, enjoyed horseback riding, playing soccer, volleyball and cheerleading. She also loved family vacations and snowboarding in Colorado in particular. Paige received voice lessons while growing up and loved sharing that talent by singing whenever possible. She also enjoyed attending live theater. She had a passion for animals of all kinds and her cats above all. She loved spending time with children, especially her many loving nieces and nephews. Paige will be remembered for her beautiful smile and beautiful spirit and the way she touched the lives of everyone she met.
Paige will remain cherished in our hearts forever and will be terribly missed by her loving family and friends. Although she valiantly strived to be happy and hopeful for her future, there was also significant pain and suffering for Paige and those who loved her during her 7 year-long battle with addiction and mental health issues. We pray she will find peace in heaven and that she will be surrounded and loved by those she loved who left this earth before her. Heaven will be a much brighter place with her presence there.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service for family will be held.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Paige's memory to Coleman Professional Services, 3920 Lovers Lane, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 or online at www.colemanservices.org/ways-to-give/give-online.aspx, or to a charity of your choosing.
