Sharlene R. Battiest

October 5, 1944- February 6, 2013

Sharlene Ruth Battiest 68, of Broken Bow Oklahoma, passed away February 6, 2013. She was born October 5, 1944 in Cleveland, the daughter of Peter and Ruth (Sullivan) Young.

Sharlene was a long time resident of Shalersville, Ohio having moved to Oklahoma in 2007. She was a former employee of the Hattie Larlham Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, Lawson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 4 children Guy Battiest (Fran) of Shalersville, Eric Battiest (Vivian) of Streetsboro, Levana Gilbert (Todd) of Broken Bow, Ok. Daphne Battiest (Rick) of Oolagah,Ok. Sisters Arlene Melle of Parma, Patricia Strauss of Mentor, 9 Grandchildren; Kaitlynn, Savannah, Alicia, Dylan, Douglas, Jenna, Autumn, Lawson and Mitchell, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Rd. Hiram Ohio 44234.
