Marion Hartung, 92, of Ravenna went to be with the Lord on December 6th, and to join her husband in Heaven for their 63rd anniversary on December 7th. Marion was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was a resident of Streetsboro and ravenna since 1964.
She worked for Davey Tree, Kent State University and Allen Aircraft before her retirement. She was a member of Streetsboro United Methodist Church where she attended regularly. In her retirement she enjoyed tole painting and attending craft shows, and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marion is survived by her son Bill Jr. (Mary Beth), daughter Marilyn McLat (Luis); grandsons Brandon Ruyten (Mary), Andy Laflame (Charlotte), Josiah McLat, Jairus McLat, Joel McLat, and Victor McLat; grand-daughters Amaris McLat, Miranda McLat (Pedro), and Havelah McLat; and great-grandchildren Adam Ruyten, Andrew LaFlame and Danielle LaFlame. Besides her parents she was perceded in death by her loving husband William Hartung, Sr. whom passed away Febuary 4, 2012, and 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Streetsboro United Methodist Church where calling hours will also be held from 10:00 AM till time of the service.
