Josephine Isolina Foutz

Josephine Isolina Foutz, age 99 of Ravenna passed into eternal life on Tuesday, December 4,

2012 at her daughter's residence in VA with family members at her side. Born on October 30,

1913 to Dominic & Isolina (Casagranda) Andreatta in Parlett, Ohio, Josephine grew up in

Columbiana County and married Roy E. Foutz. In 1942 they moved to Randolph, Ohio and

during the war years she worked at the Ravenna Arsenal. Josephine moved to Ravenna in

1963. She worked in the banking field for 22 years before her retirement from Second National

Bank in 1978. She enjoyed reading and gardening; her flowers were her passion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Sylvio Andreatta, Fred Andreatta, Elinor Rehberg,

Alma Burgoon and her children's father, Roy Foutz. Memories of Josephine will be carried by

her loving family; her daughters, Marilyn Langsdale of Miami, FL; Evelyn (Warren) Jackson of

Warrenton, VA; her son, William Foutz of Paris Township; her sisters, Mary Cullen of Phoenix, AZ,

Julia Stear of West Farmington, OH, Lucille Holko of Warren, OH; 5 grandchildren; 5 greatgrandchildren;,and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Sunday, December 9,

2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday,

December 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Arnold Edmondson will be officiating. Josephine will be

laid to rest at Lisbon Cemetary.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the ASPCA.
