He was born Aug. 12, 1921 in Edinburg, Ill, the son of Cecil and Alma Clark. He retired from Goodyear Tire, where he had been a quality control engineer.
Mr. Clark had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and Cuyahoga Falls Massonic Lodge 735. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances; sons James of Colombia, Maryland and Jeffrey of Newton Falls; daughter Debra Keller of Uniontown; six grandchildren; brother Walter of Cuyahoga Falls; sister Rhea Jane Gordon of Akron. His brother, Paul, died previously.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Carl Holm officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
