Born Dec. 3, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa, she had been a resident of the Garrettsville and Nelson areas for five years. She had lived for several years in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Beatty was a homemaker. While living in Florida, she worked in retail sales at Poston's Crafts and Art Supply.
She was a member of the Church at Troy, where she had served as president of the Ladies Missionary Group and played flute in the choir. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Danny A. Sr.; son, Danny A. Jr., and daughters, Melissa A. and Kalah R., all at home; mother, Donna Jimenez of California; brothers, Timothy, Roman and Shawn Jimenez, all of California; and sisters, Teresa Jimenez and Victoria Wing, both of California; and Rayma DeFore of Minnesota.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Troy, 18712 Mumford Road, where services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James Beatty officiating. Burial will be in Troy Township Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Green's Funeral Home in Mantua.
