Mary Dantone

Born April 15, 1910, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of Gasper and Antonina (Bianca) Bica. She lived in Ravenna since 1913.

Mrs. Dantone was a homemaker who formerly worked at the Cleveland Worsted Mills in Ravenna.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Ravenna, the Liberty Ladies Infant of Prague Guild and the American War Mothers.

Survivors include sons, Frank (Jackie) of Tennessee, Gasper "Chick" (Becky) of Ravenna, and Carl (Sherry) of Charlestown; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. John (Rose) Bruno of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario; a brother, Mike; and sisters, Anne Scichilone and Catherine Biondo.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church of Ravenna with the Rev. Robert Sabatino officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ravenna.

Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
