Morley North

Born Sept. 24, 1915 in Akron, he was the son of Frank and Vera (McKenzie) North. He formerly was of Boardman.

He was an antiques dealer and an owner of the House of Ambrose.

Mr. North was a member of the Church of Christ in Ravenna. He also was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include stepsons, Albert Phipps of Austintown, Joseph Phipps of Oklahoma City, and William Phipps of Burkburnett, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchilden; and a sister, Valerie Jones of Lordstown. His wife, Marie, died in 1994. A stepson, Robert Phipps, also died previously.

No calling hours will be held. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Palmyra. Arrangements are by Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel.
