Born Dec. 2, 1915 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Kessler and Hazel (Lovell) Hirt.
Mrs. Rogalsky had owned and operated Mary Lou's Beauty Shop.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Kent and its Mary Reed Circle, Olive Chapter No. 53 Order of the Eastern Star, the Emblem Club of the Elks, American Legion Auxiliary, TOPS, of which she was past president;Akron Mud Hens and the Brady Lake Women's Club. She formerly was a Camp Fire and Girl Scout leader and was a former chairman of the Portage County Red Cross.
Survivors include her husband, Adam W., whom she married Sept. 7, 1952; daughters, Heidi Smith of Kent and Pam (Bruce) Rogalsky Cannon of Brady Lake; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Harold Hirt of Bay Village. Her brother, Edwin Hirt, died previously.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home in Kent and from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church of Kent, with the Rev. Dr. David Palmer officiating. Eastern Star services will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
