Born Aug. 28, 1924, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary (McPartlin) Bronson of Stow. She was a longtime Kent resident.

Mrs. Coz held many business and teaching jobs throughout her life.

She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kent.

Survivors include her son, John, at home; daughters, Mary of Kent and Mrs. Sean (Patricia) Shay of Hilliard; and brother, Robert Bronson of Munroe Falls. Her husband, John, died in 1973. Two sisters also died previously.
