Harold Tucker

He was born April 15, 1908 in Belfast, N.Y., the son of Daniel and Jenny (Logan) Tucker.

Mr. Tucker was a boiler fireman at Alliance Community Hospital for many years. He also ran his own business as a saw sharpener for more than 50 years.

He was a member of the Edinburg United Church.

Survivors include his wife, Emma (Townsend), to whom he had been married 26 years; son Daniel of Boardman; daughters, Dorothy Oblinger of Youngstown and Alice Follett of Florida; step-daughters Janet (Franklin) Lough of Arizona and Jessie Stephens of Louisville, Ky.; 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. His step-daughter, Carol Villers, died previously.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, with the Rev. Ruth Chartier officiating.
