Richard Twigg

Born Sept. 29, 1934 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Edward and Sarah Twigg. He was a life resident of the Brimfield and Tallmadge areas.

Mr. Twigg was a surveyor with the Summit County Auditor's Office, retiring in 1995 after 42 years of service. He also owned a surveying business.

He was a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio. He enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Beadnell), to whom he was married for 39 years; daughters, Mrs. Joe ( Michelle "Miki") Cambria of Tallmadge and Mrs. Chip (Lisa) Horning of Mogadore; four grandchildren; mother, Sarah; and brother, Robert Fought of Mansfield. His brothers, Lester and Jerry; and infant son, Steven, died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home in Tallmadge, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Deacon Jim White officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph.
