Oliver Vayner

Born July 14, 1936 in Deerfield, he was the son of Steve and Marie (Hartline) Vayner. He had lived in Atwater 41years.

Mr. Vayner was a retired truck driver and had operated the family greenhouse. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae (Schneeberger), to whom he was married 41 years; sons, Howard O. of Lake Milton and Walter S. of Alliance; daughter, Connie S. of Charleston; six grandchildren; brother, Steve of Texas; and sisters, Irene Trask of Ravenna, Emma Erickson of Vienna, Judy Myers of Atwater and Kathy Coward of Alliance. A daughter, Anna Marie, died in 1969 and a sister, Betty Weiss, also died previously.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Atwater Chapel, where services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Private services for the immediate family will take place at the Atwater Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Atwater Fire Department or Robinson Memorial Hospital Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
