John Renszel

Born April 29, 1923 in Cleveland, he was the son of Tony and Rose (Geller) Renszel. He had been an Aurora resident since 1947.

Mr. Renszel was a transportation supervisor for Aurora City Schools until he retired in 1989.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Joan A. (Baldwin), whom he married in 1945; sons, John (Michelle) and David (Stacey), both of Aurora; daughter, Barbara Schweitzer of Mantua; four grandchildren; and sister, May Gojsza of Cleveland. One sister died previously.

There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were handled by Shorts Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel.
