Ron Burbick completes Phase One of the Phoenix Project, the first major project in historic downtown Kent in many years. The Fig Leaf (women's clothing boutique) and The Quilt Shop are open for business.

This video showcases the ribbon cutting & grand opening ceremony.

Phases II & III including "Acorn Alley" are underway.

This is such a waste of money. The people are not going to support the businesses. The only people who will succeed are those in the Bar Businesses for the college & high school students & kids. The Phoenix is better left in mythology. Kent has been dead for a long time.

No no at least this fine man is doing something with Kent. Acorn Alley is so nice hopefully the locals will support the shops!!!!!
