CANTON -- Authorities say foul play is suspected in the disappearance of 26-year-old Jessie Davis, a Lake Township woman who works at Allstate Insurance in Hudson.

Sheriff's deputies are being assisted by the Cleveland-Canton FBI office in reviewing evidence in the case, but investigators would not say what type of evidence was being analyzed.

Davis, who is nine months pregnant, was discovered missing Friday morning by her mother, Patricia Porter, who went to her daughter's residence after not hearing from her for more than 24 hours, police said.

Porter told police she discovered Davis' 2-year-old son Blake alone in his room and the Lake Township house disheveled.

"You just feel absolutely numb," she said. "I see her picture on television and I think, 'Oh my God, what a beautiful girl.' And then it hits you, 'That's my girl."'

As of Monday, police said they had no suspects in Davis' disappearance.

Deputies are working with the Stark County Prosecutor's Office to obtain any information involving Davis' cell phone records. They also were continuing to develop a time line for Davis' activities in the days leading up to her disappearance.

Allstate Insurance spokesperson Mike Siemienas confirmed Monday that Davis is employed in the Hudson risk management business center on Executive Parkway, which assists agents with questions regarding coverage.

Siemienas said he could not give any additional information regarding Davis.

The family of Davis has retained Canton attorney Rick Pitinii to speak on their behalf. Pitinii said family members were taking the case day by day and were continuing to try to get information about Davis to the public.

The Stark County Sheriff's Office had a press conference June 18 to update the public on the information they've gathered.

According to Stark County Chief Deputy Rick Perez, Davis' mother was the last person to speak with her on the phone on June 13 at 9:20 p.m. After Porter had not heard from Davis all day Thursday, she drove to her daughter's home early Friday morning.

On the 911 calls released June 18, Porter is heard crying, saying that Davis' home is a mess and that her car and purse are still there. Her cell phone and a comforter from the master bedroom were missing, police said.

"I think probably -- knowing my daughter -- she was so immaculate that anything out of place in my mind seemed like shambles," Porter said.

According to police, Blake told his grandmother and police that "Mommy was crying," "Mommy broke the table," and "Mommy's in the rug."

Police said a bottle of bleach was found on the floor of the master bedroom and that bleach had been spilled. In addition, the bed had been moved and a nightstand had been struck with a lamp that fell to the floor.

There was no sign of forced entry or that a struggle ensued, police said.

Perez said Blake's father, Bobby Cutts Jr., a Canton police officer, has been interviewed and is cooperating with authorities. His wife also was interviewed, police said.

As of press time, police were still asking the public for any information regarding Davis' whereabouts.

Davis is described as a white female, 5-feet-4-inches tall, 135 lbs., with blond hair and hazel eyes.
