It's good to see a constructive column featuring Brady Lake Village news. We're concerned about the lack of police presence lately and feel that a full time police chief would go a long way towards alleviating some problems. If you have concerns, voice them at a council meeting or phone the mayor.

You know the one thing about that las is concerning that he could appeal, and if he has friends in council or with the mayor he wont go anywhere.
I still say your best bet is to try this first and if council refuses to act upon it at all thats dereliction of there civic duty.
Then after going throught the process call the attorney generals office and let them know of the situation they will rectify it.
But if the chief is this ruthless who knows what he is capable of.
So watch your back cover your arse and go through the motion.
I know this council they may or may not act on it at all but i have noticed with most like me being nice and patient helps more so dont be rude about it to them or anything, pretty much dont give them anything they can use against you.

Hey T.I.B.S. THANK YOU very much.Your post 83 is a bright spot in my day.But I never could have got this far without a little help from my friends.Especially the friend that gave me OHIO REVISED COCE 737.171 If you give some people a book they will read it and maybe smack a bully with it.

Zorro as I read your post I thought you might be showing your cards too soon, but as I read the OHIO REVISED CODE 737.171 I sat here with a smile on my face. One would think that a man would resign when his true colors are seen by the masses and it is made abundantly clear that his sort of "authority" is not welcome anymore. Any person who uses their authority to intimidate those who he swore to protect is a sad and sorry little man, at least in my book.I am a true believer that a man is only as good as his word and with that in mind this man is no good and needs to step down to save face.
Zorro I applaud you and thank you with every fiber of my being!!!

Since the oct.monday night brady lake area crime watch meeting.I have talked with the people that were there except the chief of police. All of us had these ideas in common. The chief should cut the excuses and pack up.We want to be able to work together to try to solve our community problems. We do not need some one talking DOWN to us.We would like to get some one that would like to be a part of us.I hope we do not have to use OHIO REVISED CODE 737.171 but I think we will do what we have to do.Just more wasted time.

I was at our oct. brady lake area crime watch monday night. Is it me or what? I did not walk away with one strait answer from our chief of police.I guess what upset some of us the most was. When ask about the troubled teen issues at our play ground. The blame was put on parents, one judge, and the community in general. There is a letter being put together to be read at a council meeting and not in a closed sesson. Every body's input is important. Safety in numbers. It is a shame to feel like you have to make that last statement. THANKS every one that took the time to get involved.
