Susan Marie Romeo, 87, of Stow, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. She was born October 3, 1921, in Kent to Dominick and Mary Josephine (Iversenti) Romeo. She worked at Twin Coach as a riveter during WW II. She is survived by her sisters, Katherine Sakmar of Santa Maria, California, Mary Carter of Rancho Mirage, California, and Maylene (Anthony) Battaglia of Kent; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including Nicholas, Leslie and Heather Battaglia, Susan, Dan, Stephanie, Brandon and Caitlin Weeks, Anthony Sr., Michele, Anthony Jr., and Amber Battaglia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Waller and her brothers, Dominick Romeo and Bruno Romeo. Calling hours will be held 6-8pm Wednesday, July 1st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2nd with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
