The Democratic Party has problems; we have solutions. Nationally, Hillary Clinton's campaign has been declared dead by everyone whose last name isn't Clinton. In Ohio, Attorney General Marc Dann's career has been declared dead by everyone whose full name isn't Marc Dann.
But both are acting decidedly undead -- a zombie campaign and a zombie career, lurching inexorably forward on stiff legs with fixed stares. Relentless. Implacable. Scary.
After the Democrats nominate Barack Obama at their August convention, would anyone be all that surprised if Hillary just kept right on campaigning?
In that case, she'll need a running mate. May we humbly suggest Marc Dann?
It would get him out of state Democrats' hair a lot easier than impeachment would, and it definitely would be a move up for him on the dead-end jobs ladder. Everybody wins.
Until November, anyway.
