I recently spent seven days at Robinson Memorial Hospital and I cannot expound enough or loud enough for all to hear about the wonderful, attentive service I received from the nurses, patient care assistants, techs and the people who transported me to all the different places I had to be.
I started through the Emergency Room, went to the third floor and ended my sojourn on the special care section on the second floor. My entire stay was one of pleasant, personal and caring, knowledgeable personnel. My God bless each and everyone who cared so greatly and made sure I was able to return home.
The only problem at Robinson Memorial is the need to hire adequate staffing to assist the overworked nurses. On my last night there, Thursday, May 1, there was not one patient assistant scheduled to work the overnight shift. The nurses were on their own. How sad.
I also want to extend a sincere and very grateful "Thank you" to the dispatcher who took my call at 8 a.m. April 25 at the Ravenna Township emergency center and sent to very kind, generous, caring EMTs to transport me to Robinson Memorial. The female dispatcher kept me on the line until help arrived.
Hurray for such caring individuals. Again, hats off to all of you. May God bless you and yours. You all were a blessing to me.
