Naomi Jean Burrows, age 66 of Ravenna, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Life Care Center of Medina. Born April 29, 1942, in Kearney, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Clinton and Sarah (Weight) Ritchey, Jean was a member of the Mt. Summit Nazarene Church in Barberton. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, spending time with her grandkids, and singing at church. Survivors include her husband of 46 years Denzil Glen Burrows; children: Justina (William) McQuone of Ravenna, Angela Burrows of Ravenna, Denzil (Ann) Burrows Jr. of Deerfield, Darren Burrows of Canton; brother: Levi Bud (Elizabeth) Ritchey of Nelson; sister: Helen (Jess) Miller of Indiana; also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright- Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Russ Clark on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
