Mary A. Rine, 81, Tallmadge Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at her daughters home in Wausau, WI. Mary was born March 24, 1927 in Cuyahoga Falls OH to the late Mary Sue (Hinchee) and Arthur B. Cooper. On August 4, 1946 she married Dean L. Rine Sr. and they lived the next 61 years of their life together in the Akron area. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Dean in July 2007, her sister Betty Keyser, and brothers James, William and Jack Cooper. Mary is survived by her three children; Marceline (Richard) Tate of Wausau WI, Dean (Pam) Rine Jr. of Seville OH, and Mary Sue Walter of Virginia Beach VA, four grandchildren; Irene (Pete) Workman, Deanna Rine, Ryan Walter and Christopher Walter, two great-grandchildren; Gabriella and Abigail Workman. Sister-in-law Marceline (Rine) and husband William Weber, Canton OH. Mary graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1945 followed by employment with the A&P Tea Co. where she met her future husband Dean. In later years she was employed by City Bank in Kent as a Customer Service Representative and retired after 18 years service. Mary has been a member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge since 1969, was a long standing member of the choir, member of the Meadowbrook Garden Club, active volunteer with the Civic Theater and EJ Thomas as well as an avid member of the Life Center Plus in Hudson. Funeral services 12 noon Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the DONOVAN BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 339 SOUTHWEST AVE., TALLMADGE with Rev. C. Edward Carter officiating. Inurnment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. Friends may call 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Thursday. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, Aspirus Health Foundation, 425 Pine Ridge Blvd., Wausau, WI 54401.
