WICKLIFFE - Marie (Jacoby) Millard, 90 years of age of Wickliffe, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora. Born August 22, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Barna) Nestor. She grew up on a farm in Edinburg Township, Ohio and following her marriage to B. Franklin Jacoby, they made their home in Wickliffe, Ohio where she remained a resident for over 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and was known for her delicious baked goods. Marie was a member of the North East Ohio Coin Club in Euclid and the Eastlake Coin Club, receiving numerous awards for her special displays. Mrs. Millard was employed for several years at Bailey Controls in Wickliffe and at the time of her retirement held the position of head inspector. Survivors include her son B. Franklin "Frank" Jacoby of Columbus, Ohio; step daughter Linda (Thomas) Uridel of Northfield; step sons William (Estelle) Millard of Sagamore Hills and James (Lillian) Millard of Garfield Hts.; 7 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Also surviving are many neices, nephews including Mary Ann (Jerry) Fields of Hiram. She was preceded in death in 1959 by her first husband B. Franklin Jacoby, Sr. and in 2001 by her second husband Wilbur "Bill" F. Millard and by her sister Anna Jacoby and 2 brothers John and Paul Nestor. Funeral services will be Saturday May 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where calling hours will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Final resting place will follow at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township.
