Ravenna Attorney Terry Kane recently made known the "terrible conditions" former Mayor Jones is enduring while completing his jail time in Florida for tax evasion and mail fraud. Kane must figure all Record-Courier readers to be idiots, however, for his swift wording is an attempt at regaining respect for the former mayor, respect he should have lost long ago.
Years ago Jones and his family received a large sum of money from a grieving family. The son of Jones was the passenger during a car accident in which the driver was killed. Physical injuries sustained by the younger Jones were minimal, which considering the unfortunate outcome for the driver, should have made one feel blessed to even be alive; however, Jones was ignorant enough to sue the family of the deceased for the emotional scarring suffered by his son as an outcome of the accident. Respect? Never again.

So well said. No one but Jones is responsible for his actions and therefore he must also be responsible for the consequences of those actions.
