Airbo,

Is that a question or a comment? I see a question mark, but you essentially made a statement.

"..you a racist cracker too."

If you were to add the article 'are' then you would have a question.

"So, ARE you a racist cracker too?"

For example, 'Airbo is a moron.'

So, Airbo ARE you a moron?

=-)

Airobo wrote the following: "I just sort of thought a racist was a racist. Varying degrees perhaps, but all standing behind a common bond, hate/ignorance/intolerance."

Sort of like the statements you are making about the people in these pictures? Your intolerance for a divergent opinion from Obama's seems to be the real problem.

If these people were rallying for health care, you would probably be falling all over yourself to state how great they are...

You are a hypocrite of the first degree...

Airbo seems to be the biggest racist here.

I bet if these were pictures of an ACORN rally with all the 'brothas and sistas' learning how to write off their prostitutes as business expense, then Airbo would be commenting on how great it is to see inner city folks stand up for their rights.

Airbos valid point about the Iraq war is lost with his 'cracker' this and 'hillbilly' that.

Finally, Airbo is obviously a bleeding heart white liberal. Probably uses terms like 'cracker' and 'hillbilly' to rile others into making racist comments to validate his/her self loathing.

Grow up....

Just because one does not believe in the system at hand does not make them racist. I have a Hispanic son in law and daughter in law. Big deal, I love them just like my own children.

This has nothing to do with skin color, I did not vote for Mr. Obama, but I do pray for him. I can disagree with some of his policies without being racist.

We can disagree, but we do need to work together to make this great nation better.

Why is there so much hatred on these blogs?

No, I think it's important to distinguish between systematic racism, practiced by violent and ideological racists, at one extreme, and unconscious racism and common prejudice, sometimes involving people who are willing to try to unlearn racist attitudes, at the other.

Racists versus racists... Humn... I just sort of thought a racist was a racist. Varying degrees perhaps, but all standing behind a common bond, hate/ignorance/intolerance. :)

Airbo, there are racists, and then there are racists. It helps to be able to tell the difference.

If this were a Klan rally, for instance, the WHLO disk jockey would have been lynched on account of his sweater.

No doubt there are many voting Republicans who are not racists, and many voting Democrats who are.

However, I wish that Republicans were less reluctant to disavow the racism of some members of their party. I think that McCain, to his credit, tried to create a respectable distance between his campaign and the emotions of his running mate and her supporters. I admired him for it, but I think it's fair to say that it cost him Republican votes.

Finally, Tea Party, be forewarned. If President Obama ever appoints a Spelling Kingfish (synonym for Czar), you're going to be in deep, deep doo-doo.
