James D. Wolverton, 81, passed away October 29, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Akron and lived most of his life in the area. James was a master gardener, a home builder and had retired from Goodyear Aerospace. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Army and a member of The Chapel of Light Unity Church in Tallmadge. Survived by children, Linda, Thomas (Pamela), David, Rebecca and Mary Beth Wolverton; step-sons, Robert and Greg Lemon; sister, Bernice Raber; grandchildren, Jason and Michael Wolverton, Nina, Jessica and Eric; great grandchildren, Natalie, Riley and Tyler. A memorial service will be held, Thursday, November 5, 2009, 7:00 PM at The Chapel of Light Unity Church, 503 Northwest Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Habitat for Humanity, 1177 Rosemary Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44306. (ADAMS MASON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 330-535-9186 RC 11-04-2009)
