Ellen Louise Kline

Ellen Louise Kline, age 42, passed away on October 22, 2009 after a courageous fight against inflammatory breast cancer. She was diagnosed in 2005 but never stopped living her life, despite the struggles she endured. She taught school throughout her illness and lived her life fully until her final days. She had several pets, whom she loved dearly, especially her dog, Skoshi. Ellen was born on April 3, 1967 and attended Southeast Schools, where she graduated in 1985. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Education from Kent State University in 1992, she made her home in South Hill, Virginia, where she was an art teacher at Park View High School. She earned her Masters Degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia in 2002. Ellen is survived by her parents, Edward (Nora) Kline of Lodi, Oh. and Beverly Kline of Canton, Oh., as well as her six siblings; Pat (Susie) Kline of Vandergrift, Pa., Susan (David) Thorne of Edinburg, Oh., Anne Marie Kline of Atwater, Oh., Terry (Linda) Kline of Orrville, Oh., Kathleen (William) Arrington, of South Hill, Va., and Sarah E. Kline of Canton, Oh. She was a proud aunt to Rick (Amanda N.) and Amanda L. (Brian Novena) Gragg, Nicholas Gless, Matthew and Sarah W. Kline, Ariel Kline, Amelia and Isla Gragg. A memorial service to celebrate Ellens life will be held in her honor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Atwater Town Hall. Family members will receive guests beginning at 11:00 a.m. (RC, 11-01-09)
