Edith Clare Martino, 88, of Kent, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna. She was born July 5, 1920 in Kent to Marco and Mary (Gesue) Argante. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Edith’s priority in life was her family and she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her son, Jon "Butch" (Debbie) Martino of Ravenna; daughters, Georgiann (Fred) George of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Debbie (Dennis) Lambright of Grove City; grandchildren, Christine George of Wilmington, NC, Dustin (Heather) Lambright of Galloway, and Claire (Josh) Langell of Palatine, IL; great grandchildren, Madelyn Langell, Ella Lambright, and Adison Lambright; and brother, Patrick Argante of Riverside, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Martino; parents; and her fourteen brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 3rd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Father Richard Pentello officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent on Monday, July 6 at 9 AM.
