The engagement of Kathryn Smith, the daughter of Barbara Smith of Sandusky, to 1st Lt. Phillip Patti of Ravenna, the son of John and Sandy Patti of Windham and Mike and Darlene Wagner of Melbourne, Fla., is announced. The bride-elect attended St. Mary's Central Catholic School in Sandusky and is a graduate of Kent State University. Her fiancé attended Windham High School. He also is a KSU graduate and has been serving in the Ohio Army National Guard for eight years. A June 28 wedding is planned at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sandusky.
