The following people were recently indicted by a Portage County grand jury. Indictments are only charges and not evidence of guilt:
Antwone D. Brown, 47, of Akron. Two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, all third-degree felonies.
Kevin D. Cannon, 35, of 6615 Cleveland Road, Ravenna Township. Two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and one count each of possession of heroin and possession of drugs, all fifth-degree felonies, driving under suspension, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count each of obstructing official business, resisting arrest and possession of drug abuse instruments, all second-degree misdemeanors.
Michelle L. Cosgrove, 36, of Auburn. One count each of receiving stolen property and forgery, both fifth-degree felonies, and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Tara A. Duncan, 31, of Uniontown. Two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies, and one count each of possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
Joseph M. Gallagher, 21, of 978 Phillip Drive, Kent. One count of theft of drugs, a fourth-degree felony, receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, three counts of criminal trespass and two counts of attempted theft, all fourth-degree misdemeanors.
Kim M. Grassel, 55, of 7485 Doak Drive, Ravenna Township. One count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.
