An open poetry reading will take place at 8 p.m. Friday at Last Exit Books, 124 E. Main St. in downtown Kent.
Poets are invited to share their work in a "conversation of poems." Listeners are welcome.
The monthly reading series is held in cooperation with Standing Rock Cultural Arts.
