A car crash into a utility pole on Francis Street on the west side of Kent caused a loss of electric power for about 182 customers in Kent and Stow about 9:15 p.m. Friday.
The Kent Fire Department said the driver of the car refused treatment.
Ohio Edison reported 157 customers were affected in Kent and 25 in Stow.
