A high pressure system will pump very warm and humid air into the state

on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said. Temperatures will climb

into the 90s under sunny skies.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station

was 100 degrees in 1988 while the record low was 49 in 1930. Sunset tonight

will be at 9:00 p.m. and sunrise Wednesday at 6:16 a.m.
