Vernal pools program set May 22 at library

Judy Semroc of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History will give a photographic presentation about the importance, natural history, and benefits of vernal pools at 6:30 p.m. May 22 in the meeting room at the Pierce-Streetsboro Branch of the Portage County District Library.

Vernal pools are temporary pools of water that are home to some of the rarely seen but beloved creatures. This event is free and open to the public. Call 330-626-4458 for registration or more information.
