The Pierce-Streetsboro Branch of the Portage County District Library will present its "Read to A Dog" program at 11 a.m. Saturday. Parker, a licensed therapy golden retriever, will be available to hear children practice their reading. Children may choose library books to read to Parker, or they may bring their own books.

Registration is not required. Call the library at 330-626-4458 for more information. The library is located at 8990 Kirby Lane (next to the Streetsboro City Schools Administration Building).
