The Pierce-Streetsboro Branch of the Portage County District Library will celebrate National Pig Day on March 2 with a Give a Pig a Party program for children ages 2 through 5. There will be stories, games, crafts and refreshments. To register, call 330-626-4458.
The library, located at 8990 Kirby Lane (next to the Streetsboro City Schools Administration Building), is open Monday and Tuesday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed on Thursday and Sunday.
