Kent Free Library offers free computer classes

Published:

Kent Free Library has free computer classes that offer the opportunity to learn how to use computers and different software programs. Classes on Wednesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in January will focus on basic computer skills, such as using the mouse (Jan. 9), opening and closing programs (Jan. 16), and getting on the Internet and finding websites (Jan. 23).

On Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in January, attendees will get an orientation to popular Microsoft Office 2010 programs: Microsoft Word on Jan. 10, Microsoft Publisher on Jan. 17, and Microsoft Excel on Jan. 24.

No registration is necessary; those interested should go to the computer lab no more than one-half hour before each session for a boarding pass. Space is limited. Find a complete schedule at www.kentfreelibrary.org or stop by the Information Desk for a flier. For questions, contact the Information Desk at kflinfo@kentfreelibrary.org or 330-673-4414.
