Jumario Simmons, assistant director and demonstrator of the Cleveland Yo-Yo Club, will make a presentation at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Aurora Memorial Library, 115 E. Pioneer Trail.

Simmons, who has participated in competitions across the country, currently ranks second in the Mideast Region and has twice garnered the state open division championship, will demonstrate his skills, present a short how-to session, and perform routines that are common in yo-yo competitions.

This event is designed for children in grades one through eight.

Registration is required, and the first 15 children to sign up will receive a free Duncan yo-yo. Stop in the library or call 330-562-6502 to sign up.

The Aurora Memorial Library is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The library is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
