Staff gives info at Diabetes Prevention Fair

The Diabetes Care & Education Center recently held a Diabetes Prevention Education Fair for employees and volunteersat Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. The Diabetes Care & Education Center staff was on hand to provide information on the risk factors for pre-diabetes and the benefits of good nutrition and exercise in lowering a person's risk of developing diabetes. Taking part in the event are employees Vicki Hartung and Tabitha Lohr of patient financial services. The Diabetes Care & Education Center at Robinson Memorial Hospital provides the latest information about diabetes and diabetes self management. The program is taught by a specially trained and certified nurse and dietitian; and is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.
