Danielle Foss became the bride of Brian Cross on Sept. 1. The Rev. Karen Hartley officiated at the wedding ceremony, held at Wedgewood United Methodist Church in Akron.
Music was provided by Michael Houff. The wedding colors were ivory, brown and plum.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and JimmyLee Foss of Brimfield. The groom is the son of Rocky and Gayle Cross of Akron and Rick and Kim Herman of Atwater.
The bride was escorted by her father. She chose a strapless ivory A-line dress with a sweetheart neckline and corset back. Her bouquet contained white and peach roses with plum calla lilies.
Kim Shanafelt of Akron was the maid of honor. The flower girl was Kyleigh Kaiser of Atwater, niece of the groom. Bridesmaids were Brooke Kline of Atwater, sister of the groom; Ashley Streby of Brimfield, cousin of the bride; Betsy Foss of Manchester, sister-in-law of the bride; Brianna Cross of Atwater, sister of the groom; Megan Mills of Akron, sister of the groom; and Ali Royer of Mogadore.
Jeff Hanlin of Mogadore was the best man. Noah Cross of Mogadore, son of the groom, was the ring bearer. Groomsmen were Joey Spiegle of Akron; Nate Schaefer of Ravenna; Matt Foss of Manchester, brother of the bride; Keith Adelman of Randolph; Brendan Milburn of Atwater, brother of the groom; and Jake Esola of Randolph.
A reception was held at St. Nicholas Banquet Center in Mogadore.
Special guests included the Kelly family of Rhome, Texas, aunt, uncle and cousins of the groom, and Charles Cross of West Virginia, grandfather of the groom.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Field High School and a 2008 graduate of Kent State University. She is employed by Summa Akron City Hospital. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Waterloo High School. He is employed with Taylor Construction and Restoration in Suffield.
The Crosses traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for their honeymoon. They now reside in Mogadore.
