Screening of Tolkein's classics on film slated

In anticipation of Friday's release of the latest film adaptation of JRR Tolkien's work, Reed Memorial Library, 167 E. Main St., Ravenna, will host a three-day screening of his trilogy adapted for film.

Follow Frodo Baggins and company on their quest to destroy the Dark Lord.

Watch all three installments of the series on the days leading up to the release of the long-awaited prequel.

Show times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is free to adults and children, and snacks will be provided.
