The Kent Lions Club recently made a donation to Kent Social Services. From left are Lion Fran Hardesty, Christie Anderson of Kent Social Services accepting a $1,000 check from Kent Lions Club president Peter Orlando, with second vice president Jeff Coffee and first vice president Craig Peeps in back. Anderson said the donation would be used to purchase turkeys and gift cards for groceries that would enable clients to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner.
