Waterloo CAC to host holiday open house

The Waterloo Community Action Committee will host "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" & community open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Waterloo Elementary School Cafetorium/Gymnasium, 1464 Industry Road, Atwater.

The event is free and open to the public. Activities include stations for the little ones such as ornament making, face painting, bounce house and letters to Santa. There will be a wide variety of vendors, a 50/50 raffle, silent and Chinese auction items, free refreshments, coffee, hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

Waterloo's Band and Honors Choir will perform Christmas tunes throughout the event.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 3 p.m. for last-minute Christmas list wishes and pictures with Santa, available to take home.
