The Waterloo Community Action Committee will present "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" and community open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 8 at Waterloo Elementary School cafetorium-gymnasium, 1464 Industry Road, Atwater.
The free event includes a 50-50 raffle; silent auction (donations for the auction are being sought); activity stations for children; vendors for shopping, featuring local businesses, crafts and more; and performances by Waterloo's Band and Honors Choir. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 3 p.m., and children will be able to have pictures taken with them.
