A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church of Kent, 335 W. Main St. at Mantua Street. The cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 10, and free for children younger than 4.
Meatless sauce and carry-out service will be available. A bake sale will be going on during dinner. There will be trays and tins of Christmas cookies for sale. The outreach for this month is the Cleveland Christian Home.
The FCC Quilters are selling raffle tickets for a queen-size blue, green and violet quilt they have made. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The raffle drawing will be held on Friday. For more information, call the church at 330-673-6634.
