The Portage Trail Walkers will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday to hike along the Portage Hike and Bike Trail in Ravenna. The flat trail has a crushed limestone base and is five miles long.
Those interested in participating can take S.R. 59 to Ravenna. Turn north on Sycamore Street (at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church) and go to the traffic light.
The road will bend to the left and become Cleveland Road. Cross the railroad tracks and find the parking lot for the trail on the left, across from Kauffman Tire.
